20 Fenchurch Street.

One of 2 buildings on my list that I had to visit on my trip to London. It was designed by world renowned Architect, Rafael Viñoly. The building is has been designed so that it is slightly larger at the top than at the bottom, and hence it’s nickname, the Walkie-Talkie. The sky garden is located on the upper three storeys of the building.

The main attractions to public visitors, is the Sky Garden on the 36th floor. The steel and glass structure allows for 360 views over the City of London. Entrance is free but it requires making a booking online. We visited on a Friday, as the weekend time slots were booked way in advance.

The tropical gardens span over 3 floors, and you can have a bite and something to drink at the cafe. No reservation is required for general seating, but the prime tables next to the viewing deck is required. You can make a booking via the website.

We spent just under 2 hours in the sky garden, which was well worth the visit.
